Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Advising our customers on the nature, cost, and scope of the job, including preparing cost estimates
Serving as a liaison between customers and the workshop
Tracking deadlines and managing all related processes
Supporting our customers throughout the entire repair process

Your qualifications

Completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or a similar qualification
Further training to become a master automotive technician (m/f/d), ideally in the field of commercial vehicle technology, or a master agricultural machinery mechanic (m/f/d)
Experience as a service advisor, workshop foreman, or ambitious automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d) seeking further professional development
Knowledge of MAN service, truck technology, or the commercial vehicle sector is a plus
Customer- and service-oriented mindset, as well as a passion for technology, quality, and responsibility
Ideally, experience in order processing and cost estimation

What qualifications do I need to start working at Tiemann as an automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d)?

To work as a journeyman in our workshops, you must have completed the relevant apprenticeship. Ideally, you should include your journeyman’s certificate with your application; we will then typically get back to you by the next business day at the latest.

What are the working hours like for an automotive mechatronics technician specializing in commercial vehicle technology (m/f/d)?

Generally, we operate on a 40-hour workweek with a slightly staggered two-shift system, which may vary slightly from location to location. Typically, the late shift starts about an hour later than the early shift, allowing us to maintain our opening hours as effectively as possible without requiring overtime. Occasional Saturday work is scheduled every two or three weeks, depending on the location, but is always compensated with a day off, ensuring that the weekly 40-hour workweek is not exceeded. Should overtime occur in individual cases, it is recorded in the overtime account and compensated accordingly.
