Your tasks
- Maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on MAN commercial vehicles and vans
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components
- Testing, measuring, and repairing electrical systems and vehicle electrical components
- Installation and calibration of driver assistance and control systems
- Close collaboration with workshop foremen and the service team
Your qualifications
- Completed training as an Automotive Electrician / Automotive Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) with experience in automotive electrical systems
- Experience in the repair and diagnosis of commercial vehicles (experience with MAN trucks, buses, or vans is preferred)
- Proficiency in using diagnostic systems (e.g., MAN-cats or comparable tools)
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with a focus on customer service and teamwork

To work as a journeyman in our workshops, you must have completed the relevant apprenticeship. Ideally, you should include your journeyman’s certificate with your application; we will then typically get back to you by the next business day at the latest.
What are the working hours like for an automotive mechatronics technician specializing in commercial vehicle technology (m/f/d)?
Generally, we operate on a 40-hour workweek with a slightly staggered two-shift system, which may vary slightly from location to location. Typically, the late shift starts about an hour later than the early shift, allowing us to maintain our opening hours as effectively as possible without requiring overtime. Occasional Saturday work is scheduled every two or three weeks, depending on the location, but is always compensated with a day off, ensuring that the weekly 40-hour workweek is not exceeded. Should overtime occur in individual cases, it is recorded in the overtime account and compensated accordingly.
